The Mudflap Girl is usually seen as an embellishment on trucks (not the Volvo, of course) and souped-up utes. This take on the Mudflap Girl was created by Wyoming Public Libraries as part of a promotional campaign to reach people who do not normally use Public Libraries. It is a great campaign and some of the other ideas can be seen on their website at http://wyominglibraries.org/

Dave Horne and his convoy stayed the first night of his 2009 Run at Heather and Graham Cameron's place at Neerim Junction. It was a very hot and humid day which, with the hilly terrain, proved very wearying for both people and trucks. However, they all got through in the end and we joined other members of the Trafalgar Truck Restorers Club and the Convoy for a BBQ that night. Dave’s Convoy continued on the next day (November 1) for the rest of his Roof Top Run which was to wander around the hills and the Snowy Mountains and eventually to end up around Albury. It was a great evening with good food and good company and best of all some historic trucks to see.
