Trafalgar Truck Restorers Club Christmas break-up 2009

On Sunday, December 6 we took the Volvo and the Freighter trailer to the Darnum Public Hall for the Trafalgar Truck Restorers Club Christmas break-up. It's a good venue with lots of room to display trucks, above, and it faces the Princes Highway, so the display gets a bit of attention from the passing traffic.

This is the Volvo, it is a 1976 N1025 model, with our 38' Freighter trailer.

This is Terry Sullivan's 1950 L110 International. This was the first time we have seen this truck, Terry and Dianne came all the way from Rainbow Beach.

Lloyd Chudleigh's Ford - what a great looking car. Apparently he has had it for about 50 years.

John Fowler's Austin Healey Sprite. Don't worry, we haven't turned into a Car Club, there are plenty of trucks pictured below.

Stan Hamilton's 1946 Maple Leaf.

Norm Nettleton's J model Bedford.

Max Devlin's 1928 Dodge. Max purchased this, in a restored condition, from Ron McCrorey. Ron was a foundation member of the Trafalgar Truck Restorers Club in 1985.

John Gramlick's 1961 C0mmer Knocker, model CDY715

Another truck you have seen in this blog before, Wayne Henry's 1967 CD1840 International.

Another well known truck, Graeme Johnston's 1976 TK Bedford, with his Totoya Dyna on the back.

Not for the first time, and not for the last time, will you see Bob Lee's 1937 Diamond T in this blog. I love this truck. Below are some trucks, that you haven't seen in my blog before.

Ken Stephen's 1969 S2 model Kenworth.

Dennis & Petra Boulton's 1963 Austin. Dennis is the Vice President of the Club.

Jock Crawford's D1610 International.

Ian Benson's 1970 C1300 International

Graeme Latter's 1954 R180 International

Geoff East's 1964 AB110 International

We started with the Volvo and we are going to end with the other European truck displayed, Eric Shingle's 1974 LS 1418 Benz. That's not Eric below, that's my husband, John Arnold.
